Genealogical Form

Searches of Birth, Death and Marriage Records for genealogical purposes are also performed by the Town Clerk's office. Birth records must be on file at least 75 years and Death and Marriage records must be on file at least 50 years to be eligible for a genealogy search. Only uncertified copies are provided and are clearly marked with the statement "For Genealogical Purposes Only."

Fee varies depending on requested number of years to be searched. Please refer to the form for the fee schedule as well as the rules set forth by New York State. These forms may be sent to the town or Albany at the address indicated on the form if you are not certain that the record exists in the Town.
