In a continued effort to make government more accessible, Hempstead Town Supervisor Don Clavin and Councilman Anthony D’Esposito have announced dates and locations for a Mobile Town Hall in the 4th Councilmanic District. This one-on-one service, “Around the Town with Anthony” is a great opportunity to meet Councilman D’Esposito to discuss a variety of issues.
“Hempstead Town is committed to bringing government to residents,” said Supervisor Clavin. “I am grateful that Councilman D’Esposito is availing himself and his knowledgeable staff to assist residents with town related issues. In addition, staff from Town Clerk Kate Murray’s office will also be on hand to assist residents with questions specifically related to the Town Clerk’s office.”
“Being accessible to residents is my priority as your Hempstead Town Councilman,” added Councilman D’Esposito. “Visit me at one of these many convenient Mobile Town Halls locations to discuss problems or ask questions on Hempstead Town matters of concern.”
The Mobile Town Hall will visit nine convenient locations throughout the 4th Council District, and knowledgeable staff members will join with Councilman D’Esposito to assist residents with answers and questions related to town government including permits and applications, veterans information, senior programs and services, tax exemption information and referrals on non-town related concerns.
