Please note, Town of Hempstead beaches are only accepting payment by credit/debit card at this time. An additional $1.50 fee, required by the card processing company, will be added to the total admission price. The Town of Hempstead does not receive any part of the processing fee.
Supervisor Clavin and the Town Board are pleased to announce that Town Beaches will be open daily starting on Saturday, May 23rd. Beaches are open to Hempstead Town and Nassau County residents only. Before heading to the beach, please read these important safety rules and guidelines.

The daily resident beach parking fee is $10 per car and $50 for non-residents. Town of Hempstead operated beaches open to Town of Hempstead and Nassau County residents only. Non-resident "walk-in" rates apply at Sands, Lido and Lido West beaches.
