The COVID-19 pandemic has been hard on all of us, particularly as we seek to enjoy all of the great summer activities offered by the Town of Hempstead. This year’s programs will be a little different, but they are sure to provide the same amount of fun for the whole family.
We invite all residents to take part in the Town of Hempstead’s Drive-In Movie Series and Drive-In Concert Series, which run from early July through late August. From the music of Bruce Springsteen to the Ladies of Motown, there’s some great shows being held throughout the summer at Town Park Point Lookout. We’ll also be featuring some great movies at town parks throughout America’s largest township. From classic films like E.T. and Grease to children’s favorites such as Trolls and Frozen 2, there’s something for everyone to enjoy from the comfort of their vehicles.
Of course, as our township continues on the COVID-19 road to recovery, safety will always be our top priority. We strongly encourage all residents to review the list of rules and regulations before attending a town movie or concert. Our dedicated town staff will be on hand at these events to answer any questions or concerns, and we ask for your patience and understanding as employees take additional precautions to reduce the risk of possible exposure to COVID-19.
Working together, we can all have an enjoyable and healthy summer in the Town of Hempstead.
All concerts start at 8 PM, at Town Park, Point Lookout
Movies will begin at sunset, and attendees are urged to arrive early.
