Hempstead Town Supervisor Don Clavin, along with Senior Councilwoman Dorothy Goosby, Councilman Bruce Blakeman, Councilman Anthony D’Esposito, Councilman Dennis Dunne, Sr., Councilman Tom Muscarella, Councilman Chris Carini, Town Clerk Kate Murray, and Receiver of Taxes Jeanine Driscoll, announce additional dates for the Town of Hempstead’s free PPE giveaway for small businesses, non-profit organizations, volunteer fire departments and houses of worship. The program is a continuation of the town’s ongoing efforts to provide assistance to small businesses and community organizations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the start of the pandemic, the Town of Hempstead has provided thousands of PPE kits to small businesses, utilizing funds from the federal CARES act.
While supplies last, available materials include PPE kits, face masks, hand sanitizer, and gloves. It will be hosted at 2550 Clubhouse Road in Merrick (across the street from Merrick Senior Center) on the following dates:
-Wednesday, October 27: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. -Thursday, October 28: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
