Hempstead, NY -- America’s largest township is well on its way to becoming America’s most rockin’ township this summer as Hempstead Town Supervisor Don Clavin announced the lineup for this year’s Summer Concert Series. Headlined by the famous KC and the Sunshine Band at the town’s annual Salute to Veterans Concert & Fireworks Show on July 1st at 7:30pm at Town Park, Point Lookout, the summer lineup features top-tier talent such as 45 RPM, Jerome “City” Smith, Wonderous Stories, Decadia and many more. The Summer Concert Series continues into Labor Day Weekend, culminating with another spectacular fireworks show featuring Mike DelGuidice! “We’re firing on all cylinders to bring residents premier entertainment all summer long,” said Clavin. “From new wave to country and every genre in between, the Town of Hempstead is excited to get residents grooving at our local parks. I invite everyone to help kick off this rockin’ summer by joining us at Town Park, Pt. Lookout on July 1st at 7:30pm for the annual Salute to Veterans Concert & Fireworks Show – make sure you bring a lawn chair or a blanket and remember to put on your your your your your ‘Boogie Shoes!’”
The Town of Hempstead Concert series features a jam-packed July and August full of exciting entertainment for town residents. Each show begins at 8:00pm unless otherwise specified. Seating is not provided; attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
