Supervisor Don Clavin and members of the Hempstead Town Board are partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association, Long Island Chapter, to raise awareness of dementia and provide education and support to the community. These one-hour seminars are free and open to the public. Topic to be presented: Healthy Living for your Brain and Body- Get information on diet, exercise, cognitive activity, and social engagement for healthy aging. Registration is required. Please call the Alzheimer's Association's 24/7 Helpline at (800) 272-3900 to register for a seminar.
