Located on the West End of Long Island’s iconic Jones Beach State Park, the Center offers permanent and rotating exhibits, public programs, and educational resources to help visitors understand and appreciate the coastal environment.

Museum open Thurs. - Sun. 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Preserve open seven days a week, sunrise to sunset. No dogs allowed. An 84-acre preserve with five miles of nature trails; handicap-accessible. The preserve features streams, ponds and one of the last Atlantic White Cedar swamps in Nassau County as well as a 5-mile unpaved Greenbelt hiking trail.
