A public hearing will be held in the Nathan L. H. Bennett Pavilion, Hempstead Town Hall, Town Hall Plaza, 1 Washington Street, Village and Town of Hempstead, New York, on Tuesday, the 7th day of February 2023, at 10:30 AM, to consider the redistricting of the Town of Hempstead’s councilmanic districts, as required by federal and state law, to be codified as an amendment of Chapter 7A of the Hempstead Town Code. The proposed amendment of Chapter 7A of the Hempstead Town Code, along with digital representations of the proposed district boundaries, shall be available on the Town of Hempstead’s website, hempsteadny.gov, at least seven (7) days prior to the public hearing.
