Mah Jongg (Beginner)

This class will introduce you to the tiles, and basic moves of this ancient game. Please bring the 2023 Mah Jongg Cards (to start with) or you can purchase it at the first class from the teacher.  Bring your Mah Jongg set, if you have one.  If you don’t the teacher will provide what you need. Class is limited to 20 adults.  This class is offered at Merrick Road Golf Course Clubhouse, Merrick.

Mah Jongg (Intermediate)

In this Mah Jongg class for the intermediate student, you will learn and practice defensive plays as well as winning strategies. By the end of this class, you will become a better player as you play with friends and/or classmates.   Mah Jongg cards and sets will be provided for practice.  If you have access to a set, bring it with you to class.  The instructor will provide information for the purchase of the 2023 National Mah Jongg League card. Class is limited to 20 adults.  This class is offered at Merrick Road Golf Course Clubhouse, Merrick.

Mah Jongg (Advanced Beginner)

This Mah Jongg class is for theAdvanced Beginner level student.  The prerequisite for this class is that students must have knowledge of a beginner class.  As an advanced beginner student, you will learn and practice better defensive plays.  By the end of this class, you will have improved your chances for winning a  Mah Jongg game.  Mah Jongg cards and sets will be provided for practice.  If you have access to a set, bring it with you to class.  The instructor will provide information for the purchase of the 2023 National Mah Jongg League card. Class is limited to 20 adults.  This class is offered at Merrick Road Golf Course Clubhouse, Merrick.
