Baldwin Special District Parking Permits are required for Baldwin Resident-Only parking spaces (304) in the Baldwin Special Parking District. These permits were created in order to prevent non-Baldwin residents from parking in the Baldwin Special Parking District LIRR commuter lots. The fee for a one-year registration is $3. The license period is April 1 to March 31.

Please note that the separate purchase of a Resident Commuter Parking Permit ($10 fee) is required for the Town of Hempstead Resident-Only (928) parking spaces in the Baldwin LIRR commuter lots. Please visit the Resident Commuter Parking page to download an application for a Resident Commuter Permit ($10 fee).

Please download, complete, and sign the Baldwin Special Parking District Application at right. Your vehicle registration or a copy must accompany this application. If your current address is not listed on the vehicle registration, you will also be required to present proof of residency, such as a utility bill, tax bill, deed to the house, or a notarized lease agreement. Your registration will be returned with your parking confirmation. Please make checks or money orders payable to Hempstead Town Clerk. Please enclose a stamped, self-addressed return envelope. Please mail completed, signed applications along with payment, copy of registration, and self-addressed, stamped return envelope to the Hempstead Town Clerk.
