Tai Chi

Tai Chi is designed to take you on a journey of meditative movement, gently guiding you on a path of wellbeing and inner peace. The techniques of Tai Chi are hundreds of years old and they will help you gain a new awareness of your body, energy, and health.  For all classes, gym attire and sneakers are required. Towel and water suggested. No Refunds. 

Class Details

  • Registration: Register online beginning Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. until class is filled.
  • Fee: $60
    • Seniors/Veterans: $30 (Reduced rate also applies to the physically challenged and volunteer firefighters)
  • Program Schedule: 10 weekly sessions
  • Location: Echo Park, West Hempstead
  • Days/Times:
    •  Thursdays, September 21 to November 30 (no class 11/23)
      • 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
      • 2:15 pm to 3:15 pm (Beginner)
      • 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm  
    • Fridays, September 22 to December 1 (no class 11/24)
      • 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Beginner)
  • Location: Averill Park, Elmont (Outdoors)
  • Fee: $30

    •  Wednesdays, September 20 to October 18 
      • 10:00 am to 11:00 am
  • Location: Speno Park, East Meadow (Outdoors)
  • Fee: $30
