DEPART. 8:45 AM - 7:00 PM (approx.)

"I can think of no other edifice constructed by man as altruistic as a Lighthouse. They were built only to serve.” - GB Shaw

Step aboard our motor coach and enjoy our LI tour guide, as we travel east to the Hamlets by the Bay Museum. We will meet our famous historian who will join us and give us a “bus eye view” of the hamlets established in the 1800s, followed by free time to stroll.  We continue the tour with a surprise stop that will take us back in time.

Then we are off to the Fire Island Lighthouse. Climb up the steps or walk the ramp to the Lighthouse and Visitor Center. We will have guided tours between two buildings and we will hear some unusual tales.

Get ready for one more surprise stop...What will the surprise be? Well, think farmland and good deeds.

“We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.”

DEPART. 10:30AM – 6:45 PM (approx.)

The tradition lives on in Port Jefferson as the village is filled with sights and sounds of yesteryear. “The village, once again, will be rich with a troupe of Dickens’ Street Characters and alive with a host of musical, magical and theatrical presentations sure to delight to scroogiest of curmudgeons.”

Wear comfy walking shoes to enjoy the ongoing day’s events and stop at a local restaurant to grab a bite to eat.

Leave time to walk along Main and stop at Theater Three, one of the oldest Vaudeville theaters on LI. Sit back and hold tight. The live show on stage will once again haunt you with the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future.

But happy endings are needed now and this ending will leave you smiling as you sip some cider waiting to return to the present.
